The volleyball team took the first week of October to bring awareness for breast cancer. Throughout the week, students at Brashier could participate in several fundraisers run by the team to help raise money for the Sideout Foundation. This foundation is able to study breast cancer with the help of sponsorships from volleyball teams across the United States. “Breast cancer runs through my family so it’s great to know that the volleyball team at my school is supporting and raising money for it,” said sophomore Carson Forrester.
