The Bengal Beat

Alia Abbas
Hey there beautiful people, I’m Alia! I'm a buoyant junior attending Brashier. I’m a first year reporter for the Bengal Beat, a Link Crew leader, and avid full time student studying social sciences. I study politics from the world migration crisis to internationalism advocacy. I also work with refugees to help them share their insider perspective on migration through press and media, via my startup organization, VUIR. You will usually find me ice skating, stressing over chemistry, obsessing over BLACKPINK, drinking boba, and thriving over how I successfully walked to school today. Nonetheless, I can’t wait to cover issues plus spill all the tea on what our world is currently facing.
