Synesthesia is a neurological condition in which senses “cross over” via the stimulation of one sense, resulting in the activation of another sense. This condition has as many as 80 different subtypes, but the most common type results in numbers, letters, and other characters having specific colors or patterns associated with them. Does this signify a greater connection between senses than some may think?
